The short version

There are no accounts, no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels and no third-party analytics embedded in these pages. You can read this entire site, and buy the product, without telling us who you are.

What we collect

  • Nothing, to browse. No sign-up, no cookie banner, because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.
  • Your transaction hash, if you buy. You submit it to verify payment. It is already public on the blockchain. We use it to confirm your purchase and to issue a download token. The token is derived cryptographically from the hash and is not stored by us.
  • Your email, only if you send us one. Refund requests and support questions arrive by email. We keep that correspondence for as long as we need it to handle your request and to meet record-keeping obligations.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records request metadata such as IP address, user agent and timestamp, as essentially all web hosting does. We use it for security and to keep the site working.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing.
  • We do not run advertising or behavioural tracking.
  • We do not build profiles of visitors.
  • We do not add you to a mailing list because you bought something.

A note about blockchain payments

Blockchain transactions are public and permanent by design. If you pay us, the transfer between your address and ours is visible to anyone, forever, and neither we nor you can delete it. This is a property of the payment method, not a choice we made about your data — but you should factor it in when deciding which address to pay from.

Processors

We rely on a hosting provider to serve this site, and on public blockchain RPC providers to check whether a transaction confirmed. Those providers process request metadata on our behalf. We do not pass them anything about you beyond what is necessary to serve the request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you, and to complain to a data protection authority. In practice the only personal data we are likely to hold is email correspondence you initiated. Contact support@derwentlabs.com and we will deal with it.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Because we collect so little, we do not expect this to change often.
